Backdrops

Our backdrop selection is constantly changing, and new backdrops are added often. In addition to those shown here there are numerous solid colors such as white, black, red, grey, blue, etc that are always available.

Backdrops are typically blurred with very little detail being visible in the actual portrait, while the subject of the portrait (you) remains crystal clear. The idea is that the backdrop creates a visually interesting background instead of having just a plain color behind the subject. If the viewer of the portrait is actually noticing the background then the background is too dominant in the image and it's visibility should therefore be reduced.​

If you have a request for a specific backdrop let me know and chances are good that I either already have it or can get it for your session. Your session can be photographed however you want, in front of one of our studio backdrops, or in a studio set (next).​

Studio Sets

We always have at least two studio set areas available for portraits and other studio photo sessions. Our primary set areas include our Victorian living room set and our Oceanside Condo bedroom set.

Throughout the year we also feature special sets for holidays such as Valentines day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, and more.

In addition several times throughout the year we feature our Magical Fairy Land set where we photograph special children's fairytale photo sessions.

Studio Wardrobe

If you need a dress, jacket, or shoes for your portrait we've got you covered with our large studio wardrobe featuring hundreds of dresses and formals and more than one hundred pairs of shoes all free to use during your session.
